Essential and Intermediate Matwork
Safety is always my number one prioriy always. I will cater to the lowest common denominate in the class in terms of strength and ability. I will start with the easier modification that everyone can do and then advance the clients who can go further in time. I may need to keep the exercise simple for certain persons in the class, but I can still make them intense and "focused" so everyone is still being worked out.
The first areas covered are

Basic Principles including warm up: to warm up body and bring awareness to alignment which can then be emplasized throughout workout

mobilizing spine:flexionextension, rotaion: all spinal movements will be included in each workout

mobilizing shoulder and hips

some initial strengthening of core, connection with abdominals

strengthening of core and periphery
Third areas

building on strength and endurance through core and periphery
